The first clinical study showing the positive effects of the MELT® Method to relieve low back pain has wrapped up. The results are not surprising but very validating.
The study was conducted by the New Jersey Institute of Technology and the results showed that over a four week period the people who Melted three times a
week had a decreased level of pain, decreased thickness in the fascia of the low back (more aeration and hydration) and increased flexibility.
Two important lessons to take away from this study are:
1) Even though we love the immediate gratification we feel after Melting, there are long-term changes happening below our perception,
2) With patience and consistency we WILL experience those long-term changes.
As I continue to learn about the science behind MELT® and experience the changes in my own body, I am even more in love with the power that this method offers me to relieve and prevent pain and live with more vitality. There have been countless times that I have saved myself the expense and effort of having to see a practitioner to relieve some small issue.
