We Become What We Believe

Next month will be 5 years that I have been free from chronic pain. I remember, like it was yesterday, this gradual awareness of being out of the acute, chronic, pain zone. The 14 months of consistent, persistent, patient self-care that I enacted EVERY day was finally paying off. Some days I saw improvement. Many days I doubted that progress was being made. Many days I was ready to give up.

Some days I was downright depressed. I think the only thing that kept me from quitting was the knowing that there was no alternative. If I did not persist with my healing I knew, for sure, that I would be living the rest of my life with chronic, debilitating pain. I was absolutely miserable and there was no place to go, but UP.

So I hung on, as if it were a life preserver, to my belief that a new, pain-free reality was possible. Hallelujah to living pain-free! Hallelujah to all the exceptional healers out there who assisted me on my journey and still support me when I need it. The takeaway from my journey is that I know for sure that every goal we are striving for or positive change we seek begins with a STRONG BELIEF that a different reality is possible.

There is an adage that says, “we become what we believe” and if that is true, and I believe it is, then I encourage you to reflect on what you believe is possible? If you desire changes in your life begin by finishing this sentence, “If pain were not an issue in my life I would feel_____, I would do_____, and I would have______.”

I am committed to living pain-free and I am passionate about helping you, HELP YOURSELF! Come join me in the pain-free zone!
